President's Message

Hello boos, ghouls, and goblins!

Happy October! While fall is almost here, the weather is still nice and warm and we are taking advantage of that with some fun outdoor activities this month! We are in the thick of raising money for the Cougar Chase so don't forget to send the information to all your friends and family! All the money earned goes back to the school in one way or another so Go Cougars! We also have our oh so fun Trunk or Treat at the end of the month! If you are interested in decorating your car and passing out some yummy candy for the event, check out the flyer for all the information you will need!

As always, we have lots of information to share about the many events going on in our organization in the upcoming weeks, so be sure to check out the calendar below! Please take a look at the Volunteers Section to see if there's anything you can do to help.

Open PTA Positions

We have the following open Chair positions for our PTA:

Chair of Assemblies - Work with the PTA to pick and schedule the wonderful assemblies for the school throughout the year.
Kindness Week Chair - Work with the teaching staff on making Kindness Week an amazing event!

Library Update!

The kids are clearly loving all the new furniture that we were able to upgrade due to huge success of our Read-a-thon fundraiser last school year! New rugs, couches, book shelves, carts, chairs, moveable seating, and more, we couldn't have done it with out the support of our Smith families, so THANK YOU!

Events & Programs

Trunk or Treat!

Come trunk or treat at school at this spooktacular event! If you are interested in hosting a trunk, please click the link and sign up today!

We will also be collecting candy in the office via our "Candy Monster", so please consider donating a bag of candy (nut free)!

Cougar Chase!

Keep on going! You're doing amazing, but there's still time left! Everything you are raising helps the school provide materials and plan all the fun activities the kids love so much!

Fall Cougar Auction

Just a small little auction with some awesome things to bid on! Take a look and start your bidding!

Train of Lights

All aboard! Get your tickets to the Niles Train of Lights, plus a little treat from the Smith PTA! We have the whole train reserved, so bring your family and friends of a great ride!

Americano

We are partnering with Americano on Tuesday, October 15th! Take the night off from cooking, enjoy great food, and give back to the community all at the same time!
