President's Message

It's a month to be thankful for!

Happy November! Fall is officially here and aren't we all excited to be wearing warm sweaters and getting those cozy blankets out, I know I am! This is a more mellow month, but we still have some exciting things going on! We have the first book fair of the year coming up very soon, so check your TBR list and pick up some new additions to get your reading on! We have a very fun animal assembly in the first week of the month and I know all the kids will enjoy seeing some live animals and learning some awesome new facts to bring home (animals will not be brought home, don't worry parents)! With Thanksgiving comes lots of yummy food, football, and most importantly of course, family. We hope everyone enjoys their time with their loved ones and has a great Thanksgiving break.

As always, we have lots of information to share about the many events going on in our organization in the upcoming weeks, so be sure to check out the calendar below! Please take a look at the Volunteers Section to see if there's anything you can do to help.

Open PTA Positions

We have the following open Chair positions for our PTA:

Chair of Assemblies - Work with the PTA to pick and schedule the wonderful assemblies for the school throughout the year.
Kindness Week Chair - Work with the teaching staff on making Kindness Week an amazing event!

Cougar Chase!

Cougar was a smashing success with the students and their families raising over $53,000! That is such an amazing thing and we can not thank you enough for all the support and generosity you have shown towards the school! With out your help, we would not be able to put on all the amazing events for the kids, assemblies, and upgrades to the school that the PTA provides, so THANK YOU!

Book Fair 11/4 - 11/8

Take a look, it's in a book, it's...time for the first book fair of the school year! The students will all have an opportunity to go to the book fair during their normally scheduled library time, but we will also have family night on Wednesday, November 6th from 4:30pm - 7:30pm.

Train of Lights

All aboard! Your tickets and train treat bags will be coming home soon! As soon as the tickets are delivered to us, we will send them home with your students. We will keep you posted on exact day!
